#1 Seed Bulls Hit Edged #4 Seed Bravo S In EHL Semi-Finals

Empireskate_smallIn EHL action, Bravo S clinched the final playoff berth after a late season surge.  Yesterday night, they played the mighty Bulls Hit in the EHL semi-finals.  Bulls Hit ruled the regular season by finishing first in overall standings, but they were missing a complete line of Bravo Girls ™, who were away for the IIHF World Championships, for last night’s game.  Even so, Bulls Hit would still be the heavy favorites of the game as their roster consisted of EHL stars like Sky Wong, Jeremy Lui, Kay Tsoi, HKF, and Orion “The Shamshuipo Tiger” Wong.

On the other hand, Bravo S fielded a full team with late season additions Brandon Ho, Pearl Lam and Dixon Lee.

The number-one-seeded Bulls Hit came out strong early on and took a commanding 4-1 lead over Bravo S.  Just when everyone thought the game was over, Bravo S slowly crawled back into contention with 2 nice goals.  Bravo’s best chances came when they pulled goalie Eddie Chi for an extra attacker with one minute remaining in the game.  Waves of frantic attacks finally broke Bull Hit’s top line and sent everyone in the stands onto their feet.  Then The Shamshuipo Tiger came to Bulls Hit’s rescue with several highlight-reel saves and secured a 4-3 win for his team.

Bulls Hit advances to the finals next week, and Bravo S will play in the Bronze Medal game.
