Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam… Dream Dream Dream…

dream

Two teams headed for different directions faced-off Sunday at MegaIce, Kowloon Bay.  Bravo (0-1-1) took on Merit (1-0-1) in the last game of the night.

Bravo was without top defense man Mark McKeown and forward Kinane Lee.  It didn’t help that at least half of the dressed players were suffering from some kind of illnesses.  Sure enough, Bravo played the first two periods in dream land.  With most of the players skating around like zombies, even our in-house summoner/excorcist couldn’t do much to help.

Merit was able to take advantage of their dreaming opponents and scored half way through the first period.  They added an insurance goal later that period and led the game 2-0.  Bravo dipped deeper into their own fantasy world in the second period and ended up with no shots of goal at all.  It was Antony “Lamo” Chan’s Hair Power ™ that saved the team from further humiliation.  The game would remain scoreless through the second period with Bravo players still dancing in dream land.

The Summoner Patricia Ng finally got her magic working at the end of the second period and jump started her team back to life.  Bravo played a much better game in the third period and Ambrose Lee scored to pull the score within one.  However that was all Bravo could come up with and they are now 0-2-1 to start the 2013-14 season.  Bravo will play Jeremy Lui and the AIH at 23:15 next Sunday.
