Bravo S And Bulls Extend Their Streaks

Empireskate_smallWeek 3 of the Empire Hockey League saw both the Bravo S and Bulls Hit extended their own streaks.  While usually having a streak is a good thing, for Bravo S it is not.  They lost to the young guns at PLK in a close game by a score of 3-2, in front of a somewhat surprised crowd of spectators.  Including the game, Bravo S has started the season with an 0-3 record along with a 3-game losing streak.

Bravo S Manager Scott Yang denied reports that the team has gone into rebuilding mode.  “We have lost some key players to other teams during the off-season, but this is the perfect opportunity for our younger stars to prosper.”  Referring to players like John  Ng, Stephen Ling, and goalie Eddie Chi.  “We already have superstar players Doug Crang and Patricia Ng.  Our younger players need to take some of the burden off these stars so they could do their thing on ice.”

Mighty Doug and the Bravo S will try to stop the streak next Thursday night when they play the Warriors at 7:45pm.

At the other end of the spectrum, Bulls Hit beat Black Orange in a surprisingly close game.  Bulls Hit manager Stephenie Cheung was all smiles through out the post-game press conference.  Her team is now 3-0 and they are quickly becoming early favorites to win it all.  “Obviously it has a lot to do with our off-season signings,” said a beaming Cheung, “just look at all the players we’ve added to our roster.”  Cheung was able to sign Sky Wong, Jeremy Lui, and Brandon Ho to one-year contracts during the off-season.  These signings have proven successful so far this season as they are the top-three scorers in the Bulls Hit roster.

Bulls Hit will try to extend their winning streak and maintain their unbeatable record next Thursday night when they play the Smurfs at 10:20pm.
