Mighty Doug Saved DC Bravo With 5 Goals.

EmpireskateWeek 2 of the Empire Skate Spring League started with the DC Bravo against Empire Skate.  DC Bravo started the game with only 4 players and they showed serious awesomeness.  By the time the rest of the players made it back to the lineup, DC Bravo was already leading the game 2-0.  However, exhaustion caught up with the DC Bravo players and Empire Skate eventually fought back to a 4-4 tie.  With less than 30 seconds to go in the game, Doug Crang stepped it up one more time and scored the game winning goal.  Key player Patricia Ng was missing from the game for undisclosed reasons, she was replaced by a less-experienced player named Terence Chim.

The final game of the night was Bulls Hit vs Bloody Orange.  All of the top performers from last week were missing from the game, and that set the tone of the game early on.  Bloody Orange seemed to be the better team overall and they went on to win the game 9-3.  The high light play of the whole night belonged to Bulls Hit goalie Orion Wong.  He made an unbelievable sprawling glove save from a point-blank range slap shot.

Bravo had 4 players on ice when the game started. They some how managed a 2-0 lead. Then I joined, and Terence joined. Shortly we’re tied 2-2…
